Samenvatting
In Delft, an empirical study has been carried out to gain more insight into the characteristics of urban freight traffic. The aims of the study were to test the survey methods and to describe the pattern of urban freight movements. The freight traffic pattern in Delft is characterised in a number of ways. Items are e.g. the vehicles making trips in and through Delft, companies causing goods vehicle trips, the number of trips made, the land use at origin and destination and so on.
