Samenvatting
Two roundabouts have been studied on various characteristics. Interviews were carried out among can drivers having been spotted in the approach lanes. Speed checks by radar and video recordings completed the picture of road behaviour and reactions. The author did a lot of statistical check-work on both field and interview data. Both subjective and objective road safety were considered. Recommendations are made on signposting layout and road maintenance.
