Samenvatting
It is stated that some variables influencing the behaviour of a tyre on a road are: the longitudinal forces, the vertical force, the sideway force, the yaw angle, and the tyre characteristics. The apparatus and methods for measuring sideway force and braking force coefficients are described, and the interrelation of longitudinal and transverse forces is emphasized.
