Samenvatting
In this report the behaviour of motorists overtaking slow moving vehicles is examined. The subject is restricted to overtaking on straight and level two-way, two-lane roads. Therefore, the influence of sight-distance is not a part of this study. In the analysis of characteristics of the overtaking manoeuvres, the influence of several factors has been included. The main result is that the speed and type of the oncoming vehicle have no detectable influence on the manoeuvre,
