In this book, written in 1967 the author gives his view of the year 2000 as a scenario for the future. In a list of 100 technical renovations which may be realized in the coming 30 years, are- new techniques for amelioration of environment-a certain control of weather and climate-use of nuclear reactors as power resources for transport-cheap transport for people and freight-new methods to illuminate whole areas by night-automatized highways.
