Samenvatting
Many nonlinearities seem to be involved in information processing by the human ear. Owing to the frequency-analyzing faculty of the human ear it is also possible to gain some insight into the non-linear aspects of signal transmission prior to frequency analysis. The difference tone may be a product of such a nonlinearity. Several combinations tones are discussed in more detail.
