Samenvatting
The possibilities for improving the public transport by bus in rural areas and in particular in the province of Gelderland are outlined. The provincial authority has only small means to improve public transport, but they have studied all stops of public transport to see if an improvement of the layout, the comfort etc. could be possible. Later on the bus companies were asked to propose their ideas on improvements. Together they made a checklist and recommendations were given to the local authorities.
