Samenvatting
The governmental policy in relationship with the future development of traffic and transport is presented. Specified to the transport mode some options for the national and European personal transport policy are discussed. An under-exposure of public transport and the increase of the road network caused by the stormy growth of the vehicle ownership in the last prosperous years are mentioned. Now new investments will be asked for costly new systems for the railbound transport as well as urban and regional transport.
