Samenvatting
Parking problems are a main part of the traffic and transport problems if this moment, but only little attention is given to it in the literature. In some studies on urban transport and traffic problems the parking situation is discussed, but only regarding its influence on modal split. In this paper the parking problem is analysed from its origin, nature and possible solutions. Emphasis is given to the parking problem in the town centre.
