Samenvatting
As a part of the more decentralised approach of traffic safety in the Netherlands and more specific in the province of Friesland, several safety projects have been carried out in this province. A main area of interest is the promotion of safety on throughroads small villages. A wellknown project of this type is the reconstruction of a throughroad through the parish of "Vrouwenparochie". About 1.000 inhabitants alongside ± 1.300 meters of throughroad. This paper describes the project which was completed in 1984.
