The attention is first drawn how to test the function of a portable video-set apparatus. For these past years, more of these apparatus have been used for traffic survey because of their easy function and low cost. The author concentrates on the theoretical side of the "moving observer method" and describes the practical side in connection with the technical traffic properties of road survey. He concludes with an estimation in this field of a video-apparatus.
