Samenvatting
It is a well-known fact that signal setting policies and traffic assignment mutually influence each other. It is not always certain that an equilibrium between both can be established. The characteristics are discussed, of three Policies as far as their influence on assignment is concerned. We present for a small net-work an empirical comparison of the behaviour of Webster's policy and PO especially with regard to stability and delays. The results of the Po policy turn out to be very promising.
