Samenvatting
In the Federal Republic of Germany a point demerit system is one of the means to improve traffic safety. The Union of professional drivers is strictly against this regulation. The Union states that professional drivers must be excluded from this regulation, due to the fact that too many penalty points lead to the (temporary) confiscation of the driving licence, and professional drivers will get unemployed.
