Samenvatting
Description of a comprehensive traffic system management scheme based on an analysis of the present situation and a picture of developments and policies. From these four plans have been derived, viz for public transport, bicycle traffic, parking in the city centre and motor car traffic. Evaluation was carried out on aspects such as throughput and road safety on links and intersections plus the impact on the environment. Developing a TSM scheme proves to be a powerful tool for screening the day-to-day traffic situation within a town.
