Samenvatting
Based on the latest national census questionnaire's returns, several relations concerning transit distance and time of the daily commuter traffic of the Dutch population on the one hand the model choice private car train/bus and the presence of a railway station on the other hand are analysed finally some desiderata for further studies in this field are formulated.
