Samenvatting
This article outlines the effect on aptitude for driving of alcohol and illegal drugs in the UK. Drug-driving is a growing problem, with detection being very difficult as there is no approved roadside testing equipment. The magazine Max Power carried out an off-road test with drivers under the influence of alcohol, cocaine, marijuana, 'speed' and 'ecstasy'. Most of the drivers became reckless and erratic in their driving, although the driver on marijuana drove dangerously slowly. (Author/publisher)
