Highway accident report. Collapse of the S.R. 675 bridge spans over the Pocomoke River near Pocomoke City, Maryland, August 17, 1988.

On August 17, 1988 a 85 fast section of the S.R. 675 bridge fell about 30 feet into the river after two piles bents supporting the bridge collapsed. The probable cause of the accidents was the failure to repair or replace the underwater submerged untreated timber piles.
