Highway accident report. Trailways Lines, Inc., Intercity bus collision with Rising Fast Trucking Company, Inc., Truck, Interstate Highway 40 near Brinkley, Arkansas, July 14, 1986.

A collision between a tractor- semitrailer and an intercity bus was investigated. The probable cause of the accident was the attempt of the tractor- semitrailer driver to execute an illegal U- turn of a highway crossover. Contributing to the severity of the accident was the operation of the bus at a speed which did not permit adequate time and distance to slow or stop the bus.
