Samenvatting
The main road in the municipality of Grootegast was redivided and reconstructed in the framework of the BREV projects. The road has been earlier used for through traffic, before the ring road was constructed. By the growth of the population the origin destination traffic has increased in such a way that not alone the centre-function of the road was affected but also the traffic safety. The layout of the road was modified and a before and after study was done to its effect on traffic safety and the feelings of well-being.
