Samenvatting

An investigation was conducted to determine the attitude, or the degree of disapproval with which various offences are regarded by the community. Results clearly show that driving under the influence of alcohol, even if no injury occurs, was considered to be a major offence. It should be punished more severely than theft, forging and uttering or drug smuggling.
