Samenvatting
The role of driver improvement within driver licensing is discussed. Present and past programs are described. Global and innovative approaches to driver improvement wherein the fuller potential of countermeasures may be realised are mentioned. After a brief problem analysis and redefinition of the goal of driver improvement, a systems approach is attempted.
