Samenvatting
This study's purpose was to examine, from a human engineering point of view, the basic requirements for rear- view mirrors used on large cargo trucks and buses: why a rear-view mirror is needed, when and where the driver needs it most, where it should be located, and what physical and optical characteristics it should have for the driver to make the necessary judgments.
