Human factors and road safety : overview of research at the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute between 1977 and 1986.

A brief review of the research performed at the Human Factors Division of the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute between 1977 and 1986 is given. The focus of the research has been on human factors (ergonomic) aspects of road safety.
