Human factors design of dynamic visual and auditory displays for metropolitan traffic management. Volume 3: Highway Advisory Radio (HAR).

This study was concerned with the development of recommendations for the design of dynamic visual displays (changeable Message Signs) and auditory displays (Highway Advisory Radio) for use in managing traffic in metropolitan areas. This volume presents the results and recommendations of in-situ and field studies aimed at validating findings from previous HAR laboratory studies.
