In the town centre of the Hague about 20% of cars is parked illegal. At parking meters 30 to 40% make an offence. In a total approach of the parking in the town centre these two kinds of parking are enforced. An interview under offence-parkers was held. It is proposed to suspend the time by which one can park at parkingmeters; to use the tariff for parking as a steering mechanism; to enforce illegal parking with physical means and to introduce special regulations,
