Samenvatting
A survey of the legislative regulations related to railway level crossings and an evaluation of the practicability of the basic methods for ensuring safe level crossings have been given. The condition of level crossings in Yugoslavia has been discussed. An. analysis of the conditions with regard to exceptional occurrences show that crossings are inadequately technically equipped.
