Samenvatting
This paper is about an effort to provide a way of implementing Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) using Radio Controlled (RC) airplanes or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) that ultimately can be used for daily postaland parcel services. The unmanned, small sized airplanes can be a more efficient mode of daily low load capacity transportation within cities of a country located a few hundreds to a thousand km, than the present conventional ways (such as roadways, railways and waterways). The RC airplanes could reduce cost and time of transportation for the postal and parcel services by achieving more efficiency.
