Importance of motorways and other road in stimulating the economy of the regions (industry, tourism, habitat and rural areas)

The general importance of motorways and roads as an important part of the infrastructure of the German Democratic is outlined. Furthermore the targets and tasks of the simple and extended reconstruction of road traffic facilities are determined. The main projects are fixed by law, in five year national economic development plans.
