Samenvatting
Since the Dutch motorway control & signalling system became operational studies were made to improve it. Some improvements have already been incorporated in the system. Many major ones will be, in a one step upgrading of the system into a motorway and tunnel system. A very short description of the original system is given and discusses the various improvements. Improvements to the automatic incident detection is discussed in more detail.
