Samenvatting

Under different political leadership in Copenhagen there has been an agreement on that the city should be accessible for all, therefore restriction against all unlimited car use was necessary. The biggest problem in the future will be how to keep the modal split under economic growth. The city pf Copenhagen is now working in four directions: (1) expansion of pedestrian areas; (2) restrictive parking policy; (3) public transport; and (4) improvement for bicycles. These four directions are presented in some more detail.
