Improving Winter Walking Safety by Raising Pedestrian Perception of Falling Risk.

This study identified to what extent pedestrians perceive falling risk when walking on icy, slippery roads, toward increasing pedestrian walkability on such roads by improving facilities and by prompting behavioral changes through examination of pedestrian psychology.
