The incorporation of tyre models into vehicle simulations.

After outlining the different requirements for tyre models to be used in full vehicle simulations, a general tyre interface to ADAMS is presented. This interface consists of a library of different tyre models and allows user-defined models, too. Special attention is paid to the determination of the Pacejka constants from standard tyre measurements.
