Samenvatting
In this paper, the authors take a close look at the measurement of indirect effects of airport expansions. From a welfare theoretical perspective, it is argued whether or not to include such effects in a social cost-benefit analysis. Besides this, a thorough literature review has been conducted to explore the evaluation techniques available for the measurement of indirect effects in practice. From this literature research, it can be concluded that most of the techniques are only related to the measurement of the size of indirect effects and do not specify the welfare implications of such effects.
