Samenvatting

This paper considers the effects of travel time assignment parameters on coefficients estimated by a mode choice model. The case study is focused on input waiting time, walking time and interchange time parameters in a transit equilibrium assignment procedure and the resultant output travel time coefficients, estimated by a simple mode choice model of multinomial logit type (MNL). The dependencies are studied by construction of three multiple regression models for the estimated travel time coefficients as functions of input travel time parameters. The results from regression models demonstrate that the estimated travel time coefficients are subservient to the input data set used by the route choice simulation program (EMME-2).
