The influence of road geometry at a sample of accident sites selected within a 20 km radius of the transport and road research laboratory was examined. This report describes the selection of the sites, the survey carried out, and the results which were obtained. Such results provide some information which identifies the contribution of road geometrical features to accident risk at rural non-junction sites. (Author/publisher)
