A new tyre model and three new motorcycle models, each with different structural compliance. Tyre model, based on "taut" string idea, includes tread width, longitudinal tread distortion, tread mass effects, load variation. Lateral compliance of front wheel in front fork and torsional compliance of these forks contribute to steering behaviour of large motorcycles.
