Samenvatting
This study was designed to investigate what sort of information on traffic and road conditions Finnish drivers need, how they have received this information in the past and how they would like to receive it in the future. Additionally, the importance of information content (e.g. with regard to weather or road works) and how this information affects driver behaviour were investigated. The material was collected using telephone interviews during June 1996. The findings of the study will be used in developing and diversifying the dissemination of traffic information to drivers. (A)
