In addition to operations undertaken to incite motorists to use their cars intelligently and reasonably, real-time traffic information is both in motorists own interests and in the interests of the community. The broadcasting and taking into account of traffic information by motorists will contribute considerably not only to improving the smooth flow of traffic on main streets, but also to the preservation and tranquillity of life in the different districts.
