Samenvatting

The partial-depth spall-repair experiment, conducted as part of the Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP) H-106, is one of the most extensive attempts to date to evaluate the performance of various rapid-setting materials and procedures used in the repair of partial-depth spalls in PCC pavements. Four test installations, consisting of a total of 1,607 patches, were constructed in the four SHRP climatic zones: wet-freeze, wet-nonfreeze, dry-freeze, and dry-nonfreeze. The experiment investigated the performance of several cementitious, polymeric, and bituminious patching materials, and procedures used in repairing joint concrete pavements.
