Samenvatting
The Province of Ontario is facing a number of dynamic, demographic, economic, technological and lifestyle changes that will seriously affect planning in the 1980's. This paper attempts to 1) identify and describe these changes, 2) to assess their implications and impacts for Ontario in the 1980's and 3) to'discuss how specific transportation planning initiatives in Ontario are helping transform threats into opportunities.
