This digest is an overview of the mission that investigated innovative techniques in the planning and financing of public transportation projects in Barcelona, Spain; Copenhagen, Denmark; Shanghai, China; and Osaka, Japan. This mission was part of the International Transit Studies Program of the Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP).
