Samenvatting
The new rules for the "woonerf" support a special use of the highway in a legal way. However, the condition is that the arrangement of the street makes this use possible logically for all road users. This requires not only demands to the Street, which will be considered as a "woonerf", but also for the profile, materials, vegetation, parking etc. The designer has therefore a special task, because his technical design must agree with the wishes of the users and the population.
