Inriktningen av vägverkets FoU -uppdrag till VTI under 5-årsperioden 1980-1984. (Trends in National Road and Traffic Research Institute's research an development projects commissioned by the Highway Department during the 5-year period 1980-1984)

Highway and traffic research and development projects are planned on three levels: annual project plans, 5 year plans, general long-term plans and directions. These levels are interrelated and the report is intended to give direction to the 5 year plan on the basis of long-term planning and trends. Studies to be conducted will examine the current traffic safety situation, road standards, the influence of vehicle types and driving patterns on certain road variables, and a number of other technical questions.
