Traffic signs, traffic signals and other traffic measures, for instance to restraint traffic in certain areas, can only be placed or removed by a decree of the authority. Legal protection against such decrees or public participation in such decrees is often difficult and has no legal base. Jurisdiction on this subject is reviewed to find a certain consensus.
