Samenvatting
A mathematical model for a car-two wheeled trailer combination is given. The stability of the system under various conditions was studied by means of simulation on an analog computer. Important parameters are: the distance from coupling to the rear axle of the car and to the axle of the trailer, the moment of inertia about the vertical axis of the trailer, the load on the coupling and the damping at the coupling.
