Samenvatting

A logarithmic scale is presented for the measurement of subjective probability of arrest for impaired driving. The scale is associated with a number of different questions concerning impaired driving. For the most part, respondents perceived their own subjective probability of arrest for impaired driving as being lower than that for the average driver. The application of the scale in the evaluation of some test, television, advertising materials is also presented.
