Samenvatting
The statistics of moped ownership and accident rate of moped riders of various age groups, are presented. Head injuries, the protection offered by crash helmets, the helmet ownership of moped owners, the objections against compulsory use of helmets, the actually use, etc. are discussed. The presented facts are based on the results of an inquiry conducted in 1970.
