Samenvatting
In 1987 the then International Institute for Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering (IHE) and the Department of Transportation and Highway Engineering of the Delft University of Technology (TUD) developed a postgraduate study programme leading to the award of either a Diploma or M. Sc qualification, depending on performance, in transporation and road engineering. The curriculum for the study programme was developed by staff of IHE and TUD, and external experts from governmental agencies, consultancy firms, research institutes and contractors. The entry level of participants is B. Sc. degree in civil engineering who preferably have a few years of practical experience in transportation and/or road engineering.
