Samenvatting

International and national legislation for vehicles show considerable differences. International authorities working with vehicle legislation should be given increased resources, as far as matters of traffic safety, labour welfare, standards and environment are concerned. The national effort should be to adopt international regulations instead of making separate ones. This would facilitate for manufacturers and importers to adapt to vehicles legislation. An internatio-nal classification system of vehicles should be demanded.
