Interurban roads and motorways. Report from Czechoslovakia.

This report summarises research activities in Czechoslovakia in the following areas: (1) development of traffic modelling of the Czech highway network 1982- 1985; (2) method of assessing road construction impacts on the overall energy requirements (3) development of computer- aided design of roads and bridges in Czechoslovakia (4) development of a data bank (5) reduction of accident rates (6) modification of design standards and (7) more severia criteria for environmental problems.
